A professional-grade wood clarinet manufactured by C. Mahillon of Brussels, dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. The instrument is constructed from a dark wood, likely grenadilla or ebony, and features an Albert system keywork configuration with metal keys and rings. The bell and body sections are stamped with the maker mark C. MAHILLON BRUXELLES surmounted by a crest. The instrument retains its original mouthpiece and metal ligatures.
