Description
A collection of various antique and vintage decorative and functional objects. The grouping includes multiple pewter items: a large porringer with pierced scrollwork handles, with one handle bearing the an oval mark containing a bird crest above the letters I and M; a smaller porringer with shell-style handles; a small dish and a tea caddy spoon with a pierced handle. The lot features a square tin-glazed ceramic Delft tile decorated with a manganese purple monochrome scene of a house within a circular border. A handheld mirror is included, featuring a mottled dark brown and amber frame in a tortoiseshell style. Additional items include a curved horn shoehorn with dark stippled decoration, a simple metal spoon, and a small brass circular handle which features an embossed crest with a crown and shield. The pewter items feature various cast and incised decorations, including a floral motif in the basin of the largest porringer.
