Lot 116a:
Description
A pair of antique cast iron corner troughs designed for use as livestock feeders or waterers within a stable or barn setting. The first trough features an elongated, winged back splash designed for corner mounting, with visible pre-drilled mounting holes and a rounded basin including a central iron ring tether on the front face. The second trough is a deeper, more compact triangular basin designed to fit flush into a corner, featuring a flared rim with mounting holes and a central iron ring on the front. These items are characteristic of late 19th to early 20th-century agricultural and industrial hardware.
