A French Napoleon III period standing crucifix featuring a cylindrical ebonized wood cross mounted on a stepped, circular turned base. The cross supports a detailed cast silvered-metal corpus of Christ and is surmounted by an INRI titulus plaque. Small metallic finials cap the terminals of the horizontal cross arms. The construction utilizes turned wood elements and cast metal components.
