Description
An assortment of five vintage and antique silver-tone brooches and commemorative pins featuring historical and figural motifs. The collection includes two linear bar pins with engraved commemorative text. Both bar pins utilize simple pin-back mechanisms. The set also features a figural brooch designed as a battle-axe or poleaxe with a polished finish. Completing the group are two pavé-set marcasite figural brooches: one depicting a leaping fish, possibly a koi or carp, and another depicting a lizard with two small green faceted stone eyes. While these marcasite items are characteristic of sterling silver jewelry from the early to mid-20th century.
