Description
A large and substantial hand-blown art glass centerpiece bowl in sea green, attributed to the manufacturer Whitefriars and designed by James Hogan. The piece is characterized by exceptionally thick walls and an organic, oval form with an undulating, lobed rim. The substantial weight and light-refractive properties of the glass are characteristic of high-quality mid-century art glass production. The underside features a ground and polished base. No maker marks, signatures, or labels are present.
