The specimen is set against a diorama background featuring a neutral-toned backdrop, green-tinted textured faux rockwork, and dried reeds. The fish displays silver and gold-toned scales with reddish-orange fins and a glass eye. The case is enclosed by a glass front. The reverse is finished with green felt and a single brass wall-mounting bracket.
