Description
This oval portrait miniature, rendered in the late 18th-century style, depicts a young woman with brown hair wearing a white turban and a white gown accented with blue ribbons. The work is executed in watercolor and gouache on ivory, featuring brushwork and facial features set against a textured blue background. The miniature is housed in a polished, rose-gold-toned metal frame with a glazed front and an integrated suspension loop. The reverse is finished with a blue ribbed fabric backing, which currently bears a small circular sticker with the handwritten number 2.
