Description
An antique English square-shaped leather case manufactured by Wingate of Chester. The object is constructed from thick, dark brown leather with visible top-stitching. The top surface features a reinforced leather handle and the initials C.S. stenciled in black. It is equipped with a central metal lock mechanism and a lower leather strap with a buckle. The maker identification is provided by an embossed oval mark on the left leather flap.
