Description
An assortment of mahogany and brass photographic equipment manufactured by J. Lancaster and Son of Birmingham, England. The field camera is constructed from mahogany wood with red bellows and brass hardware. A manufacturer label on the front baseboard reads J. LANCASTER AND SON BIRMINGHAM. The camera is equipped with a brass-barrel lens featuring a rotating waterhouse-style aperture diaphragm. Included in the outfit are three folding wooden tripod legs with pointed metal feet and brass fittings, three wooden double-dark slide plate holders, one wooden ground glass focusing screen frame, and one timer mechanism.
