Description
This is an industrial electric time recorder manufactured by the National Time Recorder Co. Ltd. of London, England. The clock is housed in a stained oak case with a glazed upper door. The circular white dial features black Arabic numerals and is marked National Electric and National Time Recorder Co Ltd Aquinas St London S.E.I. at the center. It includes a center seconds hand and a small aperture that indicates the day of the week and period of the day, currently displaying Wed Aft. The lower section of the interior mechanism, visible through the glass, bears gold-tone lettering for the company name. The front of the unit features a textured black metal panel with a raised brass-tone nameplate reading National. Below this plate is a horizontal card slot and a brass plate with an In Out selector switch. A manual stamping lever is located at the bottom right.
