Description
This giclee print on Hahnemuhle paper, titled A Home From Home, is by artist Alexander Millar. Released in November 2006 by Washington Green Fine Art Publishing Company Ltd., the work features the artist’s signature subject matter, a lone figure in a flat cap and coat, walking past large, ornate stained-glass windows in a dark, atmospheric interior. The color palette is composed of deep browns and warm oranges. The print is hand-signed by Alexander Millar in the lower-right margin and hand-numbered 24/295 in the lower-left margin. A Certificate of Authenticity from the publisher is attached to the reverse, which also bears a Fine Art Trade Guild stamp. The work is housed in a wide-profile textured silver-toned metallic frame with a white mat.
