The ring is constructed in 18 karat yellow gold with an elaborate, openwork architectural gallery and a split-shank design. A single round brilliant-cut diamond is set into a triangular motif at the back of the band. The inner shank features incised marks including the numbers 750, indicating 18 karat gold purity. To the left of the purity mark is a small symbol that is not clearly legible. Further along the interior shank are faint, worn characters that are not legible as a name.
