Description
A sculptural cocktail ring featuring an abstract, mid-century modern design. The head of the ring is constructed from an arrangement of intersecting yellow gold rods with spherical bauble terminals, creating a textured, cage-like structure. At the center is a single round brilliant-cut diamond, estimated between 0.15 and 0.25 carats, held in a four-prong white metal illusion-style setting. The shank features a textured bark-like finish on the exterior and a polished finish on the interior. The interior of the shank bears impressed marks that are not clearly legible as a name or specific hallmark due to the curvature of the band and shadows. A cross-hatched textured pattern is visible on the underside of the decorative head.
