Description
A vintage Helvetia Britannia wristwatch featuring a manual wind mechanical movement. The round off-white dial has a sunburst texture and is set with faceted silver-tone hour markers and a sub-seconds dial located at the 6 o’clock position. The dial is printed with the Helvetia logo featuring a mountain range and bow, and is marked HELVETIA, BRITANNIA, 21 JEWELS, and SWISS MADE. The hour and minute hands are tapered with recessed center channels originally containing luminous material. The watch case consists of a chrome-plated base metal body with a screw-down stainless steel case back. The exterior of the case back is struck with a central Helvetia logo above the number 353. Circumferential text on the case back reads STAINLESS STEEL – SWISS MADE – WATERPROOF – ANTIMAGNETIC – INCABLOC. Two metal spring bars are attached to the lugs; the watch is presented without a strap.
The watch is working well in the auction house, but we can not guarantee the movement.
