Description
An oval portrait miniature pendant featuring a head-and-shoulders depiction of a gentleman with dark curly hair, wearing a brown coat and a white cravat. The portrait is executed in watercolor on ivory and is housed under a glass cover within a rose gold-toned metal frame. The frame is fitted with a suspension bale and ring. The reverse of the pendant displays a border of blue guilloché enamel encircling a central glazed compartment. This compartment contains a panel of woven hair overlaid with a script monogram.
