Description
An assortment of decorative and utilitarian metalware items consisting of a central copper lidded vessel and two pairs of brass candlesticks. The copper vessel is a globular storage jar or canister, constructed from two formed halves joined at a prominent horizontal center seam. It features a cylindrical neck and a fitted domed lid topped with a riveted strap handle. The brass components include four baluster-form candlesticks. One pair is designed with stepped hexagonal bases and multi-knopped stems in the 18th-century English style. The second pair features circular bases and turned stems. All items are fashioned from base metals without visible manufacturer marks or signatures.
