Description
A large scale decorative sculpture titled Swan Lake designed by artist Alice Heath for Austin Productions, Inc. The piece is cast in Durastone, a proprietary composite material, and finished with a multi-toned metallic wash in silver, bronze, and gold hues to simulate a metal casting. The sculpture depicts a seated female figure in a Romantic style wearing a long flowing gown with puffed sleeves. She is adorned with detailed beaded jewelry including a circlet, a multi-strand necklace, and bracelets. Her hand rests on the back of a swan tucked beside her. The figure and swan are set upon an integral base textured to resemble craggy rock.
