Description
A matching pair of large garden urns on square plinth pedestals, constructed from cast iron. The urns are designed in the Neoclassical campana or Medici form, featuring a wide flaring rim decorated with egg-and-dart molding. The central body of each urn is ornamented with a deep relief-molded frieze depicting scrolling acanthus leaves and central floral motifs. The urns are fitted with twin loop handles, each terminating in a molded mask at the base. The lower portion of the bowl is fluted and rests on a short, stepped circular foot. Each urn is paired with a matching square, tapered plinth pedestal that features molded trim at the top and the base. No maker marks were observed on the items during inspection.
