Description
An antique tavern-style table manufactured by Gaskell & Chambers Ltd. of Birmingham, England. The piece features a rectangular solid hardwood top with rounded corners and a molded edge. The top is mounted to a decorative cast iron trestle base finished in dark green paint. The base consists of two scroll-molded end supports connected by a central horizontal stretcher rail accented with a row of raised circular bosses. Each support features pierced scrollwork and is embossed with the manufacturer name Gaskell & Chambers Ltd Birmingham at the foot.
