Lot 263:
Description
A set of ten champagne coupes, also suitable for use as tall sherbet glasses, featuring clear glass bowls paired with amber-colored stems and bases. Each bowl is decorated with a wide, continuous band of etched and gilded leaves and vines around the rim. The lower portion of each bowl exhibits horizontal optic ribbing. The tapered amber glass stems feature a single rounded knop positioned above a wide, circular foot. Faint acid-etched markings are visible on the interior of the bowl centers, though they are not clearly legible. The design and construction are consistent with mid-century elegant glassware produced by manufacturers such as Tiffin-Franciscan or potentially French crystal houses in the style of Saint-Louis.
Quantity: 10 pieces.
