Description
A French brown lizard-embossed leather belt featuring a signature crystal buckle. The exterior strap is crafted from brown calf leather (veau) with a fine lizard-skin texture, while the interior is lined with smooth cream-colored leather (vachette). The round buckle is constructed of gold-tone metal and houses a frosted and clear crystal insert. This crystal centerpiece features a high-relief “Chat” (cat) face design surrounded by a radiating fur motif. The belt secures with a peg-and-hole closure. The interior of the leather strap is embossed with a gold-tone mark reading PARIS LALIQUE Made in France. The reverse of the gold-tone buckle is stamped LALIQUE followed by a small square hallmark. A white paper hangtag is attached, printed with LALIQUE and French text detailing the exterior and lining materials as well as care instructions. The item is accompanied by its original grey textured presentation box, which is marked LALIQUE PARIS on the lid, and includes an internal card marked LALIQUE CEINTURES BELTS.
